Гардош кула или Миленијумска кула налази се на брду Гардош у центру Земуна. Ову прелепу грађевину од цигле и опеке, која се уздиже изнад Земуна, подигле су мађарске власти  1896. године у част прославе хиљаду година од досељавања у Панонску низију. Миленијумска кула је један од седам споменика којим је Угарска хтела да обележи своју хиљадугодишњу државност и налазила се на најјужнијој тачки тадашњег Угарског царства. Земунску кулу називају и Кула Сибињанин Јанка, у спомен на народног јунака Сибињанин Јанка, у ствари Јањош Хуњадија, мађарског витеза који је 1456. године одбранио Београд од напада Османлија и недуго затим преминуо од куге у једној од кула средњовековне тврђаве на Гардошу. Постоје многе легенде и митови везани за Миленијумску кулу, а један је да из њених подрума води тунел којим се испод Дунава може доћи до Калемегдана. 

The Gardos Tower or the Millennium Tower is situated on the Gardos Hill in the center of Zemun. This beautiful edifice made of bricks, which rises above Zemun, was erected by the Hungarian authorities in 1896 in honor of the celebration of a thousand years of Hungarian settlement in the Pannonian Plain. The Millennium Tower is one of the seven monuments with which Hungary wanted to mark its thousand-year statehood and was located at southernmost point of the then Hungarian Empire. The Zemun Tower is also called the Tower of Janko Sibinjanin, in memory of the national hero Janko Sibinjanin, actually Janos Hunyadi, a Hungarian knight who defended Belgrade from the attack of the Ottomans in 1456 and died of the plague not long after in one of the towers of the medieval fortress on Gardos. There are many legends and myths related to the Millennium Tower, one of which is that there is a tunnel originating from one of its cellars and going all the way below the Danube to Kalemegdan.
